Good hostel. In a good location. I was here in September. The hostel was busy but quiet because most of the backpackers were working midweek. That didn't matter because the night-life in Sydney is amazing!

We enjoy the stay at BIG. Good location, comfortable lounge, delighted breakfast with various choices, clean rooms amd common areas..... lots and lots... I will definitely recommend BIG to my friends who are going to Sydney! P.S. The male staff looks cute!

Overall a good place, but more expensive than alternatives nearby. Breakfast is basic and sometimes run out of bread. During my stay the heater in the room didn't work and after 2 (cold) days they supplied an alternative portable heater.

Free Tea and Coffee and Breakfast included! Very friendly and helpful staff. I really enjoyed my stay and can only recommend BIG Hostel!

Much better than I expected from a city centre hostel. The desk staff were great and the rooms were clean and tidy. Could hardly expect more. Would recommend

Great hostel with the best staff. They are all very friendly en can almost answer all of you questions. Or else they help you in an other way. Free breakfast is great en lounge room is really nice. I've only met friendly people around there so go for this one!

great location except the trains are going almost all night. it's what you would expect from a big comercial hostel. the 24hr reception is great for the those catching flights in or out. the train from the airport is a bit more expensive but much faster than a shuttle bus.

Easy to get to and from - great spot near Central Station and everything Sydney has to offer just a stroll away. Good value for money. Would recommend.

Very nice staff. The single private room was very claustrophobic, but the double they moved me to when I had to extend my stay was more comfortable, and they very kindly charged the same price as the single.

common area is very clean. a little far from city centre (circular key) but not too expensive in cab. Staff are helpful and friendly

I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel. Location is alright. Still walking distance to the CBD. Clean, quite, safe and very nice staff. Will be back in this hostel end of June. Loved the free wifi in the lobby!

BIG is the best hostel I've been to so far and I've been to many. The free breakdast was amazing as well as the ensuite bathroom I was lucky enough to have. It was VERY clean and the staff was great. Great hostel in perfect location (esay to find when you arrive and close to everything) staff where fantastic and the rooms I stayed in (single en suite and double en suite) very clean and tidy. Only down side was it is a little expensive but I think thats just Sydney!

Great spot to relax and explore the city. Not a party hostel but full of great people. Staff are great, full of help!! Funky communal/cooking area with a big flatscreen tv!! Would stay here everytime I'm in Sydney.

Really liked this hostal. Clean, good staff and the rooms were a decent size. Very modern and worth stayin in for you Sydney experience. Only down fall were my room mates but hey beggers cant be choosers right!

This was my second stay in two years at the hostel and the standards have not dropped. Free breakfast is a welcome bonus, staff are always helpful and friendly and there is just a good atmosphere there, felt like home straightaway. Highly reccommended.

Not a party hostel, but the location is great, right next to central station, 30-40 min walk to the opera house and city centre, and you can definitely bet on a quiet night's sleep if that's what you want! Great place!

This is definitely not a party hostel, and a lot of folks here are long-termers working or going to school in Sydney, so if that's not your scene you'll hate it. But I wanted something mellower and less like a hotel, so I loved it here. Great location, helpful staff, free breakfast, great lounge...

really great hostel, rooms have tv and dvd player in each. common area ia dangerously comfortable. only downside is trying to find a cup in the kitchen as a lot of people carry then back up to their rooms!
