People in the Hostel are easy to get along with, staff had always an open ear for every question. Entertainment on 3 nights a week was always fun and the best was BBQ on a GREAT rooftop! thanks guys

I liked the Headquarters and its people, but we moved to a bigger hostel because it was very calm and familiar and we wanted to have a little bit more party atmosphere. There were many people who worked in Sydney or in general stayed for a longterm.

the staff were friendly enough but the people who stay there are the most unfriendly i have ever met, i would never recommend this hostel to 1st time travellers as u are not involved in any group activities, it was a chore for people to speak to us!!!!!very disatisfied, i think u need to rethink... more the staff were friendly enough but the people who stay there are the most unfriendly i have ever met, i would never recommend this hostel to 1st time travellers as u are not involved in any group activities, it was a chore for people to speak to us!!!!!very disatisfied, i think u need to rethink the length of time people are aloud to stay as the long termers rule the roost and have no consideration for anyone apart from themselves.close

I've backpacked in south america and have to say that the standards of cleanliness there where a million times better than this filthy pit in Sydney. Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy...

really freindly hostel, made u feel at home.one minute walk to the madness of kings cross , yet very quiet and peaceful at night

not very clean, but if you are not too piky, you can survive. they clean every morning though... very helpful staff. thank you. rather small premises with more interaction and social contact than in big hostels. good facilities. I liked free breakfast.

Great hostel, was nice and clean. Had a relaxed atomosphere which i liked. Staff were really helpful as well

The rooms are smallish and fairly crowded, especially since the folks in the dorms seem to be using the hostel as an extended stay base of operations. It was fun to meet so many people, but there are far too few toilets for the number of people on each floor! Our floor had one loo for a maximum... more The rooms are smallish and fairly crowded, especially since the folks in the dorms seem to be using the hostel as an extended stay base of operations. It was fun to meet so many people, but there are far too few toilets for the number of people on each floor! Our floor had one loo for a maximum occupancy of about 25 beds, and even in the middle of the night I had to stand in line to use the toilet, not to mention in the morning!close
