The location was great, and the staff were helpful. When we checked in and got to our room however, the base sheets hadnt been changed as there was hairs still in the beds, plus, there was only one blanket. Only stayed for a night's sleep x 2 but location is really nice and I can't complain about anything except that for one of the two times the room was really, really hot and the fan gave me a bit of a cold but it was perfect the other time so... guess it depends on what room you get ;)

So close to everything, didn't need to spend money on transport. Nice big common area and great staff. Was much better than I expected. Recommend it.

Great Bathroom...horrid rooms...checked in, came back at 3am and someone else was checked into my room...was more like a bording house for homeless and crim's than a back packer.

I thought that this hostel was very quiet and the location was good. The bathrooms were rather dirty however (I stayed for four nights and had to ask for the toilet paper to be restocked after it was empty for two days). Bed was comfortable. I was after a quiet hostel and this one suited.

On arrival we were informed our BOOKED rooms were full & the price had gone up & told us we'd booked for 2 nights when we had only booked for 1 night. So thanks for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!

Great location, but the cleaniness of the rooms lets the place down. My dorm was only cleaned out once in the 4 days that i was there! Also girls bathroom could have been cleaned more regularly too. One of the guys on the reception is moody and unhelpful.

For the price, it was worth moving from the YHA next door. Friendly staff, decent rooms. The kitchen downstairs was a bit small, but other than that it was a good place to stay for a few weeks.

It was a great location and setup - our only complaint was the room we were given hadnt been cleaned since the last person in there - there rubbish bin hadnt even been emptied... but other other wise great, stay there it was great.

Good location - close to the railway station so it's easy to get anywhere, near Chinatown and markets. Rooms very comfortable, secure and clean, staff helpful. More of a hotel rather than a hostel so not as much interaction with others.

The bathrooms were very wet and there was a lot of wet paper on the floors. I think that in the 5 days we were there that the bathrooms (level 3) were not serviced --neither M nor F.

This is a really good hostel, good location, staff are exteremely helpful and the people staying here are very friendly too. It does get quite noisy at night so if your a really light sleeper its probably a no no, but for the majority of us its fine to have a bit of pub and club noise in the...

Surprisingly clean and affordable - literally a 2 minute walk to Sydney Central station, which made it very easy to take the tram around Sydney. Staff was fantastic, rooms were plenty large. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed for two nights. Great location, no argument about that. Bathroom and toilet is reasonably clean. Friendly staff ! I stay on 4th floor and the room was very small for 4 share, don't know about other floors. OK for a night or two stay., wouldn't recommend for staying there long.

15 minute walk to Darling Harbour, 30 minute walk to the Opera House, so the location is great. The room was small but very clean, and the staff are very friendly.

This was my favorite hostel in Sydney- originally I wasn't going to pick it due to the lack of free breakfast, but the price was just too good- 22/night for an all-female room, really clean, great location! the kitchen area is huge, with a good dining/tv area. was really happy with my pick!
