I really loved this place... It's location is superb - just a 15min walk from the ferry wharf or town and literally 70meters to the beach... Tis a quiet hostel - no partying as such (but peeps all friendly!) - which I wanted, so it was completely ideal!!

The hostel was in excellent condition. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The location was very good, right beside the beach and 5 mins from the corso. The only thing which I think would improve the hostel is the number of showers they have available to their guests. One shower per...

Excellent - perfect location just minutes from the beach, great, friendly staff, everything was perfect for a weekend away. Would recommend.

Manly Guest House was so filthy that I didn't stay there - not even for 1 night after seeing the room and paying! Having spent the previous night in Manly Backpackers which was just as disgusting, I could hardly believe the state of the place. These people should be ashamed of themselves, charging extortionate rates for dirty, cramped rooms - the place doesnt look as though it has ever been dusted. I have been travelling Australia for 3 months staying in hostels and this was the first time I have come across dirty accomodation - there is no excuse for filth!close

Great little place. If you can look past the fact that it needs a lick of paint then you´ll be fine. Manly is a great place but not in central Sydney.

Everyone in the hostel was so helpful! Nothing was too much of a problem for them. It's so good I'm recommending it to my brother! The best hostel we've ever stayed in!
