Gothenburg is the second-largest city in Sweden and the fifth-largest amongst the Nordic countries and is situated on the south-west coast of Sweden. It is situated by the sea at the mouth of Göta Älv - the river running through the city - and is the largest sea port of the Nordic countries. Gothenburg is also home to many students, as the city includes both the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology.

    It is the second best swedish city to party in! People are fun and talkative. There are a lot of great clubs at the avenue (Kungsportsavenyn) though the age limits are high and it can be difficult to get in if you are under 20.
