   I loved the area. It is in a historic area right on a canal and it seems that they are really getting the area around it ready to be the next artsy spot on the map.    Situated in the old district with about a 10-15 minute walk to the bustling area of Suzhou. The staff was friendly and the place was decorated with an old sleepy town laid back ambiance. Overall, my friends and I were really happy with our stay and would consider staying there again.

3. Suzhou Watertown Hostel 85%      

   This place is great, right off Renmin Lu (just west). Head north on Renmin Lu for about 10 minutes and you'll hit "walking street" or south on Renmin for 10 minutes and hit "bar" street. There's a bus stop 3 minutes from the hostel. Refreshingly clean and civilized hostel. Not a party hostel...

6. Jinjiang Inn North Suzhou Amusement Park 70%      

   It is a regular budget hotel as Formuleun in France. It is located outside the city center. A cab is necessary to go downtown but it is pretty cheap. It is just a place for sleeping
