Scandic Sjöfartshotellet is located on Södermalm, possibly Stockholm's liveliest area, where restaurants, pubs, shopping facilities and cultural events create a warm and vibrant atmosphere. Gamla Stan (the old town) is within walking distance. There is a breathtaking view from Fjällgatan, and the Djurgården ferries are close by. In spite of its central position, the hotel is in a quiet area, around 200 metres from the nearest busy shopping streets. The style of the hotel reflects the maritime atmosphere of the area. The warm colours, the brass embellishment and the use of cherry and oak create a delightful, genuine atmosphere suited to the reception we give our guests. Welcome to Scandic Sjöfartshotellet.
