A very nice and pleasant place to stay. All the staff members were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help me. And it was the easiest hostel to find ever: just one block from the train station!

Willy Wallace is perfectly located near the rail station, the price is appropriate. You don't need to bring a sleeping bag, actually they even forbid using one, but clean linen is provided.

Well located hostel next to shops and bus and train stations. Very nice staff and pretty good facilities (nice lounge) but too many people in rooms in proportion to their size (beds are very close to each other).

This was a great hostel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms very clean, great kitchen facilities. Would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Stirling

This hostel was great--great location, nice staff, big kitchen, clean, bright common room and lots of character! The only complaint we have is that there were no security lockers. There was plenty of space for them in the rooms, so they should really put some in.

this hostel is a great place to stay at and if you like good conversation you are bound to find it here dont be put off by mike the manager he looks a seriouse type but he is good to talk to an inteligent guy and very helpfull

Small confusion with booking, but it was all sorted out very quickly. Trouble getting a shower in the morning because a few were out of order.

This place had tons of character with its brightly colored walls and named beds. It has a great location in the center of the city too. I really enjoyed the facilities but the staff member we worked with wasn't that warm

the canadian guy makes good conversation he seems reserved but once engaged in conversation he opens up and he is ok to talk to ....he is very accomadating and helpfull as is the new member of staff .....i did not find any fault with the plac at all and i will be returning at future times when...

very nice hostel for the backpackers,the common room is very warm and the kitchen is big and clean enough for all the guests to cook together. the location is just in the high street and there is several small shops open until midnite.very nice place to stay.

i've been to Willy Wallace for the first time, and i found it very welcoming and organized. I think that the manwith long black hair that check.in us at 22.00 was not so happy to see us....sorry man!

Unfortunately, most of the toilets were not in operation, which made for a less than comfortable stay. Cleanliness did not appear to be a priority here.

The staf was very nice and the fellow hostelers were a lot of fun. The hostel is right by the train station so that is good but it isn't that close to all the attractions. There are no lockers to put your bags and there are no locks on the doors. I didn't feel that safe and my belongings definitely weren't safe unless I was with them. It is also pretty unclean, especially the bathrooms. However, the staff is wonderful and helpful and pleasant. I had a really good time staying here even having said all those previous things. I would still recommend it.close

Worst security i've seen yet..no lockers, or locking doors. Staff wander in and turn on the lights in the mornings, quite annoying. Also very very cold. Kitchen facilities were decent, dirty though. Wouldn't recommend. Check out the HI hostel in Stirling..a better choice.

Almost right in front of bus station, so quite easy to find. Also, front is on main shopping street (food, clothes and stuff) and the back is towards the old main street leading to castle, so quite central. The beds have cool names - you'll see

strange persons in the common room. the hostel looks like a YMCA. No lock in room door. No safety feeling. password gate sometimes gets problem. But the location is very very good, just 2 min from rail station

Great hostel experience - close to the attractions and a lot of the pubs. Also, very short walk from the train and bus stations. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Very nice staff.

Staff was nice and helpful, location is great, beds are comfortable. The internet connection is down for a few days, but hopefully will be back soon. Big kitchen and living/dining area. Only beef is with the dorm doors - they close really loudly, maybe add some padding to the door frame?...
