Exactly what you'd expect from a yha. nothing to get excited about..quite comfortable but lacking in character and genuine warmth.

The only odd thing is that the showers in our room were not in room itself but rather were part of the room and so the only thing dividing your from your roomates was a curtain. However is right next to the castle and they have a good kitchen

There were not enough free parking spaces available for such a big hostel (only 8). We had to park our car at the road over the night and were just lucky that on the next morning somebody left so we hadn´t to pay for parking.

I'm 32 and I was surprised that my roommates were twice my age. Overall, I guess it was okay.

We specified on the website that we booked with that we would get a 4bed female room. Instead we got a 6 bed female room with two other lodgers who were not with our group. Staff were helpful with our party but another party had a bit of trouble with parking and were not helped.

Probably not the livliest hostel, maybe due to the fact that its out of season, but it is a very clean, well run place close to all shops, bars and public transport.

The kitchen was clean and the fridges were ok. The best of the three hostels we have been visited.

Very pretty hostel, very clean, kind of small, but nice. Very nice staff, and they do allow luggage storage if you get there early or such, which was very helpful.

The hostel is near the castle, fom the train/bus station you have to go up the hill, it's about 15 min on foot. The bedrooms are small and the beds are not very trustful.I do not know, if I will stay here again.
