9Loved the Willy Wallace hostel. The bright colors, friendly staff and comfy lounge and kitchen made up for the slightly grungy rooms and small showers. Hostel was also very close to the train station so there was no need to trek about town with a pack. The town of Stirling was also very nice...more Loved the Willy Wallace hostel. Exactly what you'd expect from a yha. nothing to get excited about..quite comfortable but lacking in character and genuine warmth.

Willy Wallace Hostel 77%
Willy Wallace is perfectly located near the rail station, the price is appropriate. You don't need to bring a sleeping bag, actually they even forbid using one, but clean linen is provided.

– posted on Aug 2008 3Well located hostel next to shops and bus and train stations. Very nice staff and pretty good facilities (nice lounge) but too many people in rooms in proportion to their size (beds are very close to each other).
