The hotel Kastel is in an excellent position in Split town centre. The owner and his family are very nice, friendly people who are extremely helpful. They speak very good english, and are very obliging. The hotel is extremely clean and very comfortable place to stay. Beautiful clean room (room 3 double) had a very nice sea veiw. is located on the promenade and is very easy to find from the train/bus station. Very cheap for what you get. highly recomended.

Friendly, helpful staff and stylish, well appointed and well maintained room made this a very enjoyable place to stay. Perfectly located in this historically facinating city and with great views across the bay from my window. The directions and map on the web site work very well.

Our room was great - newly re-decorated, clean and had everything you need for a quick stay. The staff were so helpful - letting us leave our luggage for a couple of days while we visited the other islands and giving us great advice on finding the best resturants and bars. Cannot ask for a better location on the water front right next to bus and Ferry transfer points - Double room was huge and very clean. Price was value for money but you can easliy get cheaper if the quality of your room is not important
