Although situated in the middle of crowded Seville it was very silent. No traffic could be heard.

It's a good budget hotel, it is not as nice as you might think on the pictures, but it's clean, the beds are comfortable and it's only 10 min walk to the city center. If you have to get there by car make sure you have a detailed map of the city, it's very dificult to get there. (especially if the...

More like a hotel than a hostel, the staff was friendly and the rooms were great. A bit pricy for me, but not too bad considering their competition. Breakfast is extra, but daily maid service, sheets, towels, and extra blankets and pillows more than made up for it.

Me gusto la ubicacion ya que es totalmente central a pocos minutos caminando para llegar a la catedral y otras plazas conocidas. La habitacion tiene buen espacio e igualmente el baño es grande

It would be nice if personell would know more languages than Spanish and if room would also be sweaped. Hotel actually had rooms for two although Hostelworld site did not show that choice / just for the one or three. Otherwise very nice hotel, excellent location, some of staff members very nice.

Wires exposed behind our bed, the shower head was broken, and a horrible smell resided outside our room. We asked the property to fix the´shower, and then tried, but didn´t succeed and did not even offer us another room. There are many hotels in Seville and we highly recommend staying at another one.close

The basics were alright, the room was spatious and the bathroom was clean. The staff, however, were not always that friendly, and the "breakfast" was not that great. The location is okay, but quite a walk away from the main sights.

Hotel Marian was good. I would not say that it was outstanding. The walk back at night was fairly deserted and dark. But, the staff were nice, and the rooms were fine.

The hotel has rooms centred around 3 lovely internal courtyards and is deceptively large. The room was large and spacious and opened out onto the courtyard. It was nice and quiet as it is located quite far down a side road off a main road but is within walking distance of the main sites.

This is a hotel, not a hostel - very reasonable rates. Rooms are very large, including bathroom. Great location, with a short 5-10 minute walk to main part of Seville. There are 3 supermarkets within 5 min walk - though rooms don't have fridges. Highly recommned Hotel Marian.

They soon put us right (but didnt call us stupid!). Bet its lovely in summer with the pretty courtyards (but i dont like the heat so wont get to see it!) Dont bother with a tourist map - theyll give you a much better one with all the small streets shown - and will tell you where the best tapas/ice cream/cakes are to be found! Viva Sevilla! close

Lovely hotel, clean rooms, hot and powerful showers, good location, nice people and would definately stay there again. Good value for money. One tiny thing...could have used better directions to get to hotel from airport/city centre.

Walking distance to all the sights with a number of excellent local tapas bars - good location but far enough away from the tourist bars to escape when you want to - don't leave the hotel without a map!

More alarming than anything was that we felt particularly unsafe in the location. Getting lost even in the daytime in the windy streets of the barrio was unnerving. One night we were mildly harrassed by some Sevillian boys. We found the staff very cold and uninterested and the fun we had in Sevilla had little to do with the hotel. Disappointingly, our negative experience in Hotel Marian resulted in a poor perception of Sevilla, which was probably undeserved.close
