We marked "fun" as average, because we had a great time, but we didn't meet people staying in the hostal, probably because we had no interest in doing so. There was someone up at the entrance all night to let you in and give you your key (literally 24/7), which I thought was great.close

Very convenient location, steps away from the Alcazar and the church. We stayed on the sole top room, room 30. There was a rooftop terrace that we never got to enjoy, but it had a view of the alcazar walls. Our room was a little tight on space, and smelled a little musty. But very cheery,...

Amazing position, could not be any better! With room 31 you get a balcony with a view of the cathedral! Could be cleaner, but would definitely stay again. Staff were friendly, just not everyone speaks English.

A good hostel, very close to the cathedral, which is a good thing! The only minor point was our room which was just next to the reception and the staff was not really quiet!

Avoid rooms on groundfloor, very tiny, no windows and very claustrofobic. Upstairs rooms are great!

Our room was literally on the street and was extremely noicy. Other than that good hostel with second to none location.

The hostal had a great location, only a few steps away from major tourist attractions in Seville. The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked it, it looked like the bathroom hadn't been cleaned at all and there were ants in the room as well.

We didn't appreciate being given a room on the ground floor with only a small window which we could never have opened and the noise from the reception area right outside our door

The rooms No 1 & 2 in are in the ground floor. They are very noisily; very close to the street with a old gate to the strret. Also very close to the reception where the staff is speaking at the top of one's voice. The rooms 1 & 2 are horrible.

One night staff member was very grumpy and angry person. Did not speak english very well. He always caused us problems when we were returning at night (4am). You are unable to bring any guests as well.

Lock on our door was not great but reception desk always attended. The two girls at reception were very lovely and helpful. Our room was at the top on the terrace though and our floor was dirty all the time, mabey because it was outside? We had to wear shoes inside. Rest of cleanliness was fine. Also had to climb 4 stories (no lift) always a challenge with luggage.close

The first room assigned to us had no outside windows (only towards a patio) and bad ventilation. Consequently, the bathroom was mouldy and the room uninhabitable. We then got a roof top room, with excellent views towards the catedral, which was great.

Unfortunately roadworks happening at present right outside, so no chance of a sleep in during the week! Also carries sound too well - can hear the receptionist on the phone from your room! Otherwise good, warm and comfortable although when they say double room they mean twin!
