Had a serious problem with the hot water supply.The lady at the reception told us, that the problem would be fixed tomorrow - she could not do it now, because the repair would require her to make a very dangerous climb somewhere high across the roof (good story!) I am quite sure, the good story and the paper clip is in constant use!close

The room was so small that there was not room enough for two suitcases. In addition there was water leaking and smell of mold.

We really recommand this hostal: Good price, nice and clean room, very well located, five minutes walk to the cathedral. Perfect situation for your stay in Sevilla. But: They couldn´t read our credit card so we had to pay cash... VERY small room for luggage.

it can be a good choice for a seville trip. hostal monet is placed at the very center of everything and also the security and the staff are the best attributes of this hostal. have a nice vacation.

L'ostello è centralissimo, in una posizione magnifica per la visita alla città. La camera era piccola, ma davvero graziosa, arredata con buon gusto e originalità. Davvero carina! L'ambiente pulitissimo, ogni giorno pulivano la nostra stanza e cambiavano salviette e sapone. Great hostel right off the plaza nueva and close to shopping and sights. A couple minutes walk from the cathedral and other sights. Decor was was new and modern and probably one of the nicest bathrooms I've ever had in a hostel!! And god love them, good water pressure!

Perfectly adequate, clean rooms with new en-suite at a great price. Very close to the cathedral and all the main attractions.

We were not looking for fun which is why I scored it low, it may be fun if that is what you want. The rooms are small and compact but have all you need for a few days. Our beds were not made on the second day which was strange.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Seville. I would definitly recomend it!!! The only thing was that our toilet was dirty, really discusting!!

This was a nice and very cheap hotel. The staff was helpful and could speak English. They were quite patient with our late arrival. I'm not sure how long the prices are going to stay low...

This is in fact a Hotel-very private atmosphere and good value.Very clean rooms with modern bathroom.You can have your breakfast on a terrace outisde with a great view on the city of Sevilla.Would recommend the Hostal Monet in particular for couples.

Overall this hostel was good. I didn't have any issues and the staff spoke fairly good English. Everything was pretty modern and upkept. It is in a good location, right off Plaza Nueva.

Monet is a good hostel if you want a clean room and wish to stay in the center of Seville. Much more of a hotel than a hostel, Monet lacks in character and fun what is has in cleaniness and neatness. Non è un Ostello, è un albergo, le camere vengono pulite tutti i giorni e gli asciugamani cambiati.. è tutto nuovo ed elegante.. in 5 minuti si è dalla cattedrale e dai real alcazares.. in più gran rapporto qualità/prezzo consigliatissimo!

we have to turn in our room key to the front desk each time we leave the hostel, which is fine. My only comment is the front desk workers should ask for an ID before returning room keys to guests. Otherwise anyone could ask for any key.

An excellent cheap hotel, Location was good- only about 5minutes walk to the sights and night spots i was less impressed with the security- when you came back in at night the guard showed you a piece of paper with all the occupied room numbers on, and you just pointed to a number and he gave...

The problem with 'hostels' in spain is that they are very rarely hostels in the proper sense of the word (i.e. they allow you to cook for yourself etc) and this was the case with 'hostal' Monet, it was more a budget hotel. However, it is a very comfortable budget hotel so nothing wrong with that!

This is a HOSTAL. Not a Hostel. A TAL is like a Hotel. No fun here. But great privacy, clean, new, great location and as cheap as a hostel so if you want privacy, stay here. I would come again in a heartbeat.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant: the room was very clean and decorated with taste (i loved the shower). It is very well located and the staff is nice. An excellent deal: i strongly recommand it!

Poor location, especially considering the major development that is taking place on the main road near the hostel, which is a major eyesore. Although it is fairly easy to catch a bus into the centre of Malaga. Friendly and helpful staff though, and a cheap bar.

location was fine, but the cleanliness was very very bad. The bathroom was very poor and in the shower booth, the water didn't go down, (it stucked!) It is very cheap so it can be choosed by your priority.

I enjoyed my stay here very much, it was in the old centre, everything was very close by, at walking distance. The hostel was clean and at low cost, I will definately come back here in the future.

this is a great hotel and after paying 37 euros to that digusting hostel in barcelona we couldnt believe our eyes. everybody should go to this hotel in seville. the staff in the morning is not so good but the one in the evening is great.rooms are great and for sure you will think that price it is...
