Makuto was amazing. The atmosphere was so laid back, it is exactly the place you want to be in Albayzin. The staff are incredible, and the hangout area outside is gorgeous. We really loved our stay here.

The place was quite hard to find especially in the night! but the staff was great, i was welcomed with a slice of home-made cake! they explained me it all as for everything that was to do in Granada... Only problem, the squeaking beds...It was just impossible to sleep...

This hostel WOULD have been good. However, there was no hot water for the first 2 nights I was there, and in the end they had to arrange for me to stay somewhere else, in another part of town

Breakfast was pretty basic, ran out of milk pretty much every day. Hostel itself is really nice, awesome chillout area. Bar has cheap drinks. Pretty good location as long as you don't mind a slight uphill climb to get there. Very clean.

Makuto is the the best hostel ever! It is very clean and comfortable. It rained a lot and we actually happily hung out in the hookah tent and kitchen at the hostel. It is in a beautiful location and the staff was a blast. You have to stay at Makuto!

Good place - lovely outdoor areas, nice staff, great location in the middle of the old town. Only 2 complaints - bunks were very squeaky and limited common areas for when it was cold or rainy.

This hostel is fantastic! Lives up to its rating of Super clean, really chilled and especially friendly. A special thanks to Jeremy, Jose and the girls there for being so knowledgable and friendly. Definitely worth more than 1 night's stop.

It is a nice Hostel located in the Albaicin quarter. The rooms are spread in houses which you all access through the same charming inner court. This is the central place where you will meet other travelers while enjoying a sangria or a mojito !

The staff took time out to welcome us and explain what we should cram into a short visit. great location-right in the middle of the cobbled streets of old town (v confusing!). Good facilities but don't expect a good nights sleep if you're in the dorm rooms - some don't have proper walls so there's lots of noise from people outside. Such a great hostel in a really unique location but still central. The staff were so friendly, almost like they were travellers as well. The hammocks and garden area were also fantastic. Could not speak highly enough of it.
