' Among alleys, corners and little squares flanked by white walls of a neighbourhood of Arabic flavour, the Albayzin, we are waiting for you '. House managed by a peculiar 'travellers family' covered in a long tradition and experience of more than 15 years in the art of sheltering the traveler, opens his doors as a guesthouse. Mochi is not a hotel nor a common hostel, Mochi is something special. You will find a great surface of common spaces to make you feel at home: collective kitchen(cuisine) with everything necessary, social lounge with lounge bar, court, sunny terraces with deckchair and tables, excellent views to the Alhambra, and access to Internet and WiFi in practically the whole building. We have apartments of 5 persons of capacity, with kitchen and private bath and shared dorms with bath. All of them are decorated with comfortable beds and typical furniture. All in a magnificent house with a patio of the 16th century, where you will be able to enjoy with us calm parties of summer evening in our court or nice and warm sunny mornings in our terraces. Couldn't it be better to discover the deepest Granada's culture than do it from inside? If you are lucky you will be able to share with us unforgettable moments, improvised parties, programmed parties, meet artists, to go out of excursion … definitively to be able to share a part of our lives. Among all the members of the family: we speak Spanish, English, French and Japanese … we have visited all the continents, for land, sea or air; with suitcase or with backpack, the question is to know the world. If you are an anxious and opened mind, but at the moment of resting you like to do it indeed, come to our house. NOTE: Children under 16 are not allowed in dorms. Between 16 and 18 just with a responsible adult. PLEASE: SEE MAP & DIRECTIONS BEFORE COMING!!! I was there as summer was turning into fall and it was very cold at night! Other than that, the staff was wonderful and cool to hang out with. It's a bit of a hike from the action of Granada, but if you don't mind that I recommend you stay here!

A great stay with the best staff I've seen in a hostel so far - my fellow travellers agree. Go on as you are doing, as you're doing it the only right way. Niklas

This hostel is brilliant. It was really hard to leave Mochi as well as the other people staying in there. This hostel isn't for hardcore party people, but I can recommend this hostel to everyone.

Great Guest House! Really enjoyed my stay, comfy bed, warm shower, great views of the Albyzin and Alhambra! The Albyzin can get really sketchy at night, so watch yourself, especially with this hostel being way up inside of it, but otherwise it was a great stay! Thanks Mochi Guest House!

An absolutely amazing hostel. I stayed in the private double, which was beautiful, clean, large and a great deal, with a deck looking over the alhambra. Friendly staff and, although a little hard to find, in a really cool part of town.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mochi GuestHouse. The staff were legends and helpful in every way! Not the type of hostel you'd want to stay in if you were up for wild nights but if you want a safe, quiet and relaxed stay in beautiful Granada then this place is it!!!
