The room was very small and in the morning there was no hot water. It wasn't a great place to meet people as the meeting area is the bar next door, which is more of a boring cafeteria, and closes really early. On top of that - the staff all looked like they'd rather be dead. I wouldn't recommed...

It was a very basic hostel, which is ok as you get what you pay for, however for two out of three days we didn't have any hot water to shower (which was pretty grim anyway). The staff didn't seem too bothered, although it's not their fault but the management need to sort themselves out. Great...

The only problem we had was finding the place - it says to get off after the cathedral and of course we didn't know which building the cathedral was.

It's a hostal ("cheap hotel"), not a hostel, so meeting other travelers in the non-existent common room isn't likely to happen. However, if you are traveling with other people or simply need to get away from a hostel for a day or two, it's a great place to stay. Very reasonably priced...

It's a great hostel. Really recommended. Within walking distance of Plaza Nueva and also the touristic information centre. Also very near to the Alhmabra bus station. Basically I'm very pleased with the hostel. Only that at night it was very cold.

This made staying at the hostal both a blessing and an inconvenience. Calle Navas is lively at night with locals chatting and eating and musicians playing random tunes, but the noise usually lasts until the early hours of the morning making it hard to get a good night's rest. There may be rooms without balcony over Calle Navas. Otherwise the place is clean and the staff helpful. The hostel has a tapas bar down stairs, they serve good and cheap breakfasts.close

Located on a pedestrian street with lots restaurants, and the noise stops about 1 AM because they are closed by then. BUT, there was street cleaning all 3 mornings I was there starting at 7/8ish. Noisy as hell. Staff was nice, room was clean, elevator was broken, overall good value for money.
