The man who ran the place was very nice and helpful! The room was nice enough, and there was hot water... unlike two other hostels we had stayed at in Spain. I would go again just to see the owner again. He was so welcoming! It is also not a bad location for going to the alhambra and other...

The only possible thing against staying here is that calle Elvira has lively street life even at night so if you are noise sensitive and cannot fall asleep easily, you might need a more quiet place.close

Hostel was clean, never had a problem getting into the bathrooms. We arrived very late and they we're wonderful about letting us check-in. There is no curfew however they do ask that at 11 you are quiet.

Simply a clean bed and quiet night´s sleep in an awesome location. Owner really friendly and funny - a nice welcome. No breakfast, kitchen or towels, just a good place to stay and enjoy Granada´s Alhambra and free tapas.

The hotel was very well located, clean and calm but the room looked a bit like a prison cell.

This place is amzing, highly recommend it. You will love the big rooms, the ac-but you have to pay extra, but get it- the tv, the huge closet. Spotless too. you will never meet anyone though, but that what the city is all about, go and meet locals instead. Great hostel, situated in the very center of Granada. The location can't be better, close to Plaza Nueva and Cathedral. Comfortable and secure place, low prices and good atmosphere. The staff is great and really helpfull! I had a very good time there.

The only downside was paying for parking, and it was noisy being right on the party street... but get a room with AC and you will be good!

I had a great time in this hostel. The place is spotless, offers Wi-fi services and the staff is adorable. Oh, and it's great value too! ;-)

The owner of this hotel is such a nice guy! We missed our bus to the flamenco show and he literally ran out to the street to help us. He genuinely cares about your stay, there's no curfew, and it was a pretty safe and clean place to start. Definitely stay at this hostal; it was the best of our trip!

We booked a 4 bed room and thought we were getting air con but apparently not. Staff did lend us a small fan after our first night in sweltering heat. Its very noisy from the street if sleeping with the windows open but thats the payoff for a great location. javier is a great host! antares is close to all the major sites in Granada. However, the bathrooms are in need of some servicing, so make sure you use your flip flops. also bus#33 from the bus stn, brings you directly to the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay in Antares and especially Granada. Javier, the man who greeted us was very nice and funny. The location is great, it really is in the center. I understand that people couldn't sleep with the noise, but for my part, I didn't have any problem with it.
