I can´t give any review, ´cause we didn´t even found it. Neither 'TomTom' nor the lokals knew the way. We gave up after 1 1/2 h search on dirt track and went back to Gibraltar - in the middle of the night....

We choose this rural house because there were no rooms available in Grenada. But finally it was a good choice. This is a beautiful house located in the Sierra Nevada. The view is great and it's so quiet.

The night we spent there left a sour taste in our mouths (quite literally) for the rest of the holiday. Sadly the hostess is not at all suited to the service industry. Her car and house were inexcusably dirty. The sofas were covered in mud from no fewer than six dogs, who though friendly, were not under control. The bathroom had an unbearable odour and the bath unusable due to a thriving colony of mould and even more amazingly, no hot water. The food was simple and of very poor quality, with bad ingredients and presented with a lack of care. For our meagre evening meal we were charged €15 each on top of the €3 breakfast (burnt toast and warm milk) which only after leaving did we learn was advertised as included in the room price. It is not a pleasure to have to write such a poor review, but neither was it a pleasure to stay there. There is potential in the setting (although the last 1km to the house is offroad) and there is a swimming pool (which we did not venture into considering the lamentable sanitary conditions elsewhere). However, the impression the hostess gives is that it is a surprise to receive guests, and when they arrive, she makes little effort to accomodate them.close

This is a really lovely place to stay if you want to get out of the city for a while and feel be emersed in spanish countryside in a luxurious but cottagy environment. The food was only average though, and when we arrived we had to wait over an hour to be let in as the staff was away in town. Be careful driving through the narrow streets on the way there - GPS recommended! The small towns you drive through are quite untouched by the tourist so are nice to see. Recommended.close
