Alex and Heather are very nice and were always checking to make sure I had everything I needed. They were very hospitible and I spent a whole evening with them and Zach which was infinately better than spending it alone. Loja, where the hostel is, is a very pretty town. It was kind of nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of Granada. The rooms were very nice as was the breakfast. I am very glad that I stayed here and I would recommend it if traveling to and from Granada everyday fits into your schedule. Although the train is not particularly frequent, it is not expensive which is very helpful when traveling on a budget.close

You have to know what to expect when you arrive to Loja, otherwise you may end up crying!!! The hostel is really wonderful and the owners are very kind. Loja, however, is a strange place to be. Like a ghost-city. It is ideally located, however, for driving to malaga, granada, antequera, el...

Just like the description says, Casa Alheza is NOT in Granada. It's in San Francisco de Loja, which is a 45min train ride to Granada. If you're OK with that, then this bed & breakfast is GREAT! A few rugs in the rooms would make the floors a little warmer (can get cold at night during the winter.) Overall, FANTASTIC stay.close

Nice couple running this spic and span pension. Breakfast is good and plentiful. Average rating for location is due to the fact that we were of the opinion it was closer to Granada than it actually was. Might be easier getting around if you have a car...we were dependant on public transport...
