“ To be fair I was there in the height of summer, but the room we were staying in was ridiculously hot! There was an air conditioning unit but it just made a loud noise rather than cooling the air. It's a shame that the place wasn't better maintained as it could have been beautiful and really unique. ”

“ A beautiful place. But unfortunately, our otherwise beautiful ground floor room had a window that looked out on to a tiny light well that was full of boilers/air con equipment - so the room felt very claustrophobic. Otherwise, a very nice hostel. Nice staff. ”

Description of Hostal Lineros 38
One cannot think of Cordova without taking into consideration the Andalusi culture which gives special nature and beauty to the town, an whose origin and greatest magnificience lies in its fruitful and stimulating crossbreeding among Muslims, Cristians and Jewish. Lineros 38 Hostel´s aim is to discover this crossbreeding with a genuine Mudejar architecture and its Andalusi flavour, achieving a really original context. Our Singular hostel is adapted to the structure of an ancient Mudejar House within the Axarquia quarter, and it is situated about 300 metres from the great Mosque-Cathedral of Cordova. There cannot be the slightest doubt about the fact that Lineros 38 Hostel is one the best places for getting closer to this small paradise, the city of Cordova. Very few places adjust so well to the dream image of the "AndalusÃ" Cordova. Charming rooms, wall light blended with lights and shadows, stairways and windows with beautiful horseshoe arches upon a reddish background. Stone, Moorish brick walls and a wide colours scale, they mix together in a stimulating and artistic way, sample of the recent rehabilitation. While its architecture brings to mind the exotic aroma of the "AndalusÃ" houses, everything shut up in its inside proclaims the cheerful and jovial character of its hosts. Bluish walls and adorned with forms and colours, which are as natural as bold… A magical dream place of enjoyment makes up the cosy atmosphere of lounges, which are almost always pervaded with the smoke and scent of herbs burning. And all this takes place around a big and beautiful glazed ceiling.
