   We ended up in this hotel after leaving an awful villa after only one night. All rooms had beds plus sofa beds, and a tiny kitchen hidden in the wardrobe. The hotel is known as the Art Hotel and is packed with works of art, some of which are for sale, makes for an interesting interior.... more We ended up in this hotel after leaving an awful villa after only one night. All rooms had beds plus sofa beds, and a tiny kitchen hidden in the wardrobe. The hotel is known as the Art Hotel and is packed with works of art, some of which are for sale, makes for an interesting interior. The hotel is rated as four star and was OK, although some areas were obviously more aimed at business clients than holiday clients. Overall not a bad place for €150 a night including a buffet breakfast.close

There are two comfortable... more If you want high quality accommodation but don't want the restrictions a hotel can sometimes have, these apartments might be the ideal answer. Each apartment has a nice kitchen and bathroom, very comfortable living room and good sized bedroom with very comfortable bed. There are two comfortable divans in the living room and a good-sized terrace. Apartments overlooking the two swimming pools are more expensive than those overlooking the street. The hotel has a nice sun terrace with good sun loungers. There is a good restaurant in the complex on the ground floor. The complex is close to the centre but far enough out not to be noisy at night and it is also close to the beach and promenade. THIS IS AN UPDATE OF THE REVIEW I did for the Aparthotel Mediterraneo in the past and I have to say my feelings towards the place are changing. I'm now seriously considering alternative accommodation for next time. The rooms are still fine, good sized beds, well equipped bathrooms, etc. but having no hot water for the best part of a week was a real bummer. I complained about it and they sent a technician but he could do little. I do not know if the problem was restricted to my room but I suspect not. I think the hotel is saving money by heating water twice a day evening and morning and if it runs out before you get a chance to wash, then tough. But at the prices asked, is it too much to expect hot water for a shower when you come up from the pool or beach at 5 in the evening? I think I managed three hot showers in 7 days. Not at all impressed and not something I'm prepared to fork out a lot of money for in future, unless they get their act together.close
