Quinta da Capela 96%
We will never forget our visit to Quinta da Capela. It was a highlight of our trip. Tomaz and Bernardo are the best. They made us feel welcome and they were such great company. They are genuinely interested in their guests. I can't imagine a place to stay with more character.

Villa Cinthia 84%
The place is ok if you travel with car or you have plenty of money to spend on transfers. The english-speaking staff was missing, and we had to study place ourselves because we didn't know portuguese, at least we were given the timetable and map. The description wasn't fully informative, they...

2We really enjoyed our stay here, it is very "Portuguese" . It is very peaceful, lovely gardens, and nice pool. In the directions, it might be a good idea to say "Big pink house, right on the main road, just past village of Janus, bus stops outside" because we missed it on first attempt. Very...

Quinta Da Fonte Nova 83%
Luis and Anna were very accomodating. One of the best lodging experiences I have had after living in Europe for three years. In fact, I never even log on to rate anyone good or bad, but I wanted to share my good feelings about this beautiful villa and its kind owners. A real treat for any...

1We went there in march. The common rooms could have been warmer. the breakfast was a bit poor, we had 4 days the same breakfast..no assortment. the place is not easy to find and there is nothing going on for young people. Without a car it is almost impossible to get to this place and away....

2 Squared Hostel 75%
Great location next to the train station, clean, safe, secure. Large room and not crammed with beds. Cafe/bar downstairs with cheap food but no free breakfast. Not a large hostel. Reception opening hours can cause problems if you need anything before 12pm.

16When we got to the hostel it had had a bathroom malfunction so the hostel was essentially closed. We talked to the manager and she hadn't gotten a booking from you so she was not expecting us. I think that maybe the booking fee should be refunded to us as nothing actually happened with our...

Hotel Vip Miramonte 72%
Good location- 1km walk to the beach and nearby shops and restaurants but not right amongst everything which was nice. Easy bus in to big town of Sintra but can get costly if you're doing it each day!

25The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. You'll be able to play table tennis or to relax in the swimming pool (nicely placed in the small park of the hotel). A bit old fashioned but in line with the nostalgia inspired by Sintra. Unbeatable quality for the paid price.
