Landmark of Singapore. Got to see. Sir Stamford Raffles found Singapore 1819. Well, vibrant city, expensive though. Pubbing very expensive, but check out the hawker center, everywhere you can find. I'm not a big fan of going to see animals in confined spaces, so I never visit zoos when travelling. But Singapore's 'Night Safari' is different - the animals are walking around pretty much in the open! This enormous park has zebra, lions, elephants and way more. Not to be missed.

Orchard Road for large shopping malls and top brand names, but don't expect rock-bottom prices for top labels. Go to Chinatown and Little India for smaller shops and market stalls.
