Description of Camollia
In the center of Siena, very close to the historical Porta Camollia, you will find our Guest House 'Camollia'. It has double bedrooms with private bathrooms and some double bedrooms with shared bathroom. The Guest house has been completely restored and its rooms are large, well-lit and very quiet. Bathrooms are new and they have comfortable showers. The windows overlook the country and gardens. The furniture is classic and comfortable. Important Check-in: Our guesthouse is small and very economic, so we do not have a person always present for the check-in. The best time for the check-in is: from 13,00 to 15,00 and from 17,00 to 19,00. Should you arrive at a different time than advised, you might have to call us to let you in, we will come in a few minutes. After 19,00 we are forced to pay staff overtime, with an extra cost for the Guest of 10 euro. After 22,00, if not previously agreed, we are not able to do the check-in.

“ Clean and private with a beautiful view. The landlord was friendly and we kept extending our stay because it was such a lovely town, and a good location for a reasonable price. Good for a couple, not single people. Not much contact with other travellers! ”

“ Great little spot, you get your room and then dont see anyone again which on one hand is great but on another, if you have a problem then well, it is a problem. Semi central in a nice quiet spot. Decent all rounder! ”

“ The first impression was good: clean, a kitchen, a common room, a double bed and the owner was quite friendly. But if you look more in details this guesthouse has some negative aspects. On my pillow I found some bloodstains. There were no basket in our room and the common room was closed.... more ”

“ Rooms located in a beautiful apartment located a block from the Camollia gate--a 10 to 15 minute walk from the Piazza del Campo. Not for those looking for a hostel type experience, but in my opinion much nicer and a much better value than a conventional hotel room. It is possible that a phone... more ”
