Due to open in 2008 our new boutique hotel Le Tigre de Papier Residence follows in the tradition of our restaurant by offering excellent quality at affordable prices La Residence is a twenty room modern Khmer villa. All the rooms are en-suite and fully air conditioned. Our pool, restaurant and bar are set in a lush tropical garden. So relax, eat, drink and swim all for only $20 to $35 a night. First opened in 1999 the 'Tiger Paper' quickly became one of Siem Reap's most popular restaurants. After a morning at nearby Angkor Wat, lunch, a drink and a read of one of the over 5000 books that line the restaurant shelves became an institution for many of the thousands of travellers that pass through the ancient home of Angkor Wat every year. Always trying to improve, changes have been fast over the last year. We have expanded our menu to include more classic Cambodian dishes, we have built a wood fired pizza oven and we have started a 24 hour pizza delivery service. And now we are proud to announce the opening of our new boutique hotel 'Le Tigre de Papier la Residence'.

Loved the hotel, the pool area & the breakfasts are excellant. But the staff on the desk were not particularly friendly or helpful.

Staff excellent and friendly. Totally enjoyed my stay. Will go back again. Although located down a dirt allyway, the hotel is located about 5mins walk to pub street and restaurants. Air con, free security box, free brekky, free swimming pool (loved it), and free wifi.

If I had only one advice to give : if you come in Siem Reap, come to this hotel...you won't be disapointed. Really fantastic place to stay, great restaurant on site and added bonus of a swimming pool. Great service, they even picked us up from the airport and sorted out us a brilliant tuk-tuk driver for our trip round Angkor.

It's a nice place. It's cheap, the staff are friendly and warm. Always have a smile on their face. The place is near pub street and night market but the road is quite bad so you may have to suffer a few bumps in the head while riding the tuktuk :)

Great hotel - very friendy staff, super clean rooms and very good breakfast! Only a 5-10 min walk to 'pub street' where there are more bars/pubs/restaurants then you could ever need. Little bit difficult to find as its right at the botom of Sok San st and map on hostel bookers isn't very good!...

Pretty hotel, very new (july 2008) and a nice pool. It's on the end of Sok San Road, it takes a bumpy ride to get there.
