Great location if your planning on going to the main bars and restaurants, a little bit further on for Angkor although you can rent a tuc tuc from the hostel for all day at no different than other cost so makes no difference...

Didn't get our booking, so we were shoved into a really small room. The beds were so uncomfortable. Good location though and 1 tuk tuk driver who is stationed there Te is awsome. The rest of the staff everythng was an effort for!

A couple times after I had been out, I went to get my key from reception and was told it was upstairs. Went to my room and the key was just in the door while the cleaning lady was cleaning another room on that floor. Also, for getting out to Angkor, is better to deal direct with tuk tuk drivers. I asked the hotel staff about going out there for the sunset only and they said it was $12 whether for the whole day or not. I got it off a tuk tuk guy for $5.close

Good points: Good location only 10 minute walk into town. Big clean room with nice bathroom, good laundry service. Good food in restaurant. Bad points: staff are very grumpy and they try and sell you a tuk tuk to ankor that costs 15 dollars when it costs only 10 from town

I was told room was not available until 12hrs later upon arrival. then I was transffered to another GH. 5 USD more was asked for. It was absolutely unacceptable. I refused this abruptly. That was really unpleasant experience.

The people working at the hostel were quite nice. A driver picked us up from the airport in a tuk-tuk and ended up serving as our guide throughout our time in Siem Reap. He drove us around Angkor Wat and would take us into town and pick us up for dinner. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was very clean and had not yet opened its doors to the public but it was not where we had booked. Overall the hotel was clean, the owner was very helpful with regards the above but the location was a little out of the way - not a problem if you want to get a tuk tuk there and back but as two girls we felt that we could not walk to the hotel at night. Breakfast was the usual bread, butter and jam. Booked tickets for us and arranged a tuk tuk driver that was on time. Overall: Clean, location could be better, staff friendly overall good.close

It was a perfect staying in your guesthouse! Thank you for the kind assistance of Mr. Be and his colleagues who take nice care of us. Especially the trip to the several temples we enjoyed very much and were pleased to hear all the interesting stories about those histroical monuments. Those days...

They all knew us by name and were always trying to help in anyway they could. The description of the hostel on hostel world was a bit misleading. There is no tub (just a bathroom with shower and toilet in the same room) and the the rooftop bar was a bit of an exaggeration. The rooftop is someone's living quarters which has been sectioned off by a sheet and tables have been set up for people to use. There is no bar up there...but you can take your own drinks or the hostel's drinks up there. The view is nice though. Location isn't fabulous. It's good but about a 10 minute walk into Siem Reap where the restaurants are, etc. There were 3 geckos in our room and their droppings could be seen on the walls and in the corners. The hostel also offers tours to Angkor. We assumed that when we were paying US$30 for a driver and that driver was also a tour guide for the ruins...that was not the case. Just clarify before so that you know exactly what you are getting. All in all a good hostel.close
