Since opening in 2004, Two Dragons Guesthouse has built a solid reputation for providing the finest in service, information, honesty, and cleanliness. It is operated by the owner and author of one the most respected and straightforward Cambodia-focused travel websites, talesofasia.com. Two Dragons is housed in a modified traditional Cambodian house, the guesthouse is fronted by a hygienic restaurant offering fine Cambodian and Thai cuisine. About the guesthouse: All rooms have A/C, private bath with hot showers, 80-channel international cable TV, free WiFi internet access. Some rooms have minibars. We pride ourselves on cleanliness. Rooms are cleaned daily and the guesthouse is cleaned topped to bottom twice a day. About the restaurant: Open from 6 am to 10 pm, we offer fine Thai and Cambodian cuisine supplemented with Western breakfasts, sandwiches, and snacks. We also offer a wide variety of fresh fruit shakes and juices as well as our own homemade ice cream. We also proudly offer some of the coldest beer in Cambodia. Our kitchen is open to public view and you can poke your head in at any time. About our service and information: We don't B.S. at Two Dragons. If we think something is garbage we tell you, if we think something is worthwhile, we tell you. We base our information on what is best for you, not on who offers us the biggest kickback. Whether it's local tours, attractions, or onward travel, you can trust us to give you the information you need to hear, and not the information we want you to hear. And we provide full guide and tour services as well as onward travel services except for those we feel are too dodgy or unreliable for our customers to use. For example, don't ask us to sell you a scam bus ticket to Bangkok, we don't sell them, never mind almost everybody else does. We have our own drivers available for Angkor visits which are honest and reliable and well known to us. We provide free transfers from the airport, bus station, and boat docks and also provide transfer (for a fee) from the Poipet border and Phnom Penh airport and city. To minimize customer hassle with airport and bus station taxi drivers, our free pick-up service is mandatory. We will waive this requirement if you have already obtained a driver/guide for your Angkor tours and can provide us his name and telephone number so we can verify the pick-up. We also provide unique customized trips to the Tonle Sap Lake to a variety of villages on day and overnight journeys, including several villages rarely touched by tourists. Free WiFi internet is available in all public areas and most rooms of the guesthouse. Just turn on and log in. Bookings: We only accept bookings made at least 48 hours in advance. If you need to contact us for a last minute booking or more information, please e-mail us. If you are traveling overland from Thailand we only honor bookings which accept transport from the border to Siem Reap via a taxi arranged by us as history has shown us that those who choose to take the Scam Bus invariably never arrive. The staff were exceptionally helpfull here. If you are looking for a tuk-tuk driver ask for "Mr. Ko-sun" he was very efficient and showed us the "real" Cambodia.

Helpful staff willing to give advice and help arrange driver/guide as needed. Location is not near the old quarter, but it is quiet. They have the BEST restaurant attached to the hostel and the fish amok is one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. A great place to stay. We felt lucky to have found this Hotel. Very clean. Staff were nice (except one grumpy lady in charge in the mornings). TV to relax to after a day at the temples. Perhaps the best part about this Hotel was the Food! Great menu and Great food. I would stay here again for sure.
