Shannon is a nice place to chill out but you must hire a car! The bus services are not very good from Sixmilebidge to the Airport or to and from Limerick. I missed the last bus from Limerick and have to pay 22 Euro to get to the hostel then my flight was a t 7am but there were no buses running...more Shannon is a nice place to chill out but you must hire a car! the village was really small and pretty much the personification of the word quaint. there isn't much to do except drink at one of the seven pubs so if you don't mind knocking one back (or several) with the locals, then you're experience will be great. i say grab a guinness and chat to the...more the village was really small and pretty much the personification of the word quaint. there isn't much to do except drink at one of the seven pubs so if you don't mind knocking one back (or several) with the locals, then you're experience will be great. i say grab a guinness and chat to the barman and make some truly irish new friends while taking a bit of a seista from civilization.close

    We had the most lovely time. The Bakers were a great family and most accomodating. I would recommend this to absoltely everyone travelling to Ennis.

    We had a GREAT time at the Courtyard! The breakfast was amazing and the owners were so hospitable and friendly!! I loved the area and we are planning on coming back again in the future!
