It was a scene straight from Sex and the City, complete with barmen who lit the bar on fire, lit the DJ box on fire..and that was just the start of it. The nightclub itself is half indoors and half outdoors. and believe me, with the heat of a Shanghai summer, often the airconditioned inside is cooler than outside! The outside part has sand, beach chairs, sun loungers, you name it... the inside part is all sultry lighting, with a huge bar in the middle and lots seats around the side where people can sit and be noticed... The music was brilliant, a mixture of old school and chart dance music..the crowd was well dressed and there was a lot of champagne to be seen, there was mix of Chinese and foreigners... The view from outside is unbelievable, possibly the best i have ever seen! You can see right down the Bund and across into Pudong, and all lit up at night, its really worth paying the nightclub entrance fee for the view alone!close

Between bottle juggling and setting fire to the bar, the bartenders may make you one of their signature ginger melon martinis. The Night Club does attract posers but it’s a lot of fun!close
