the only problem with the stafｆ was they didn:t speak much English. Otherwise, the place was wonderful. Airconditioned was a necessity, close to shopping and the subway, plenty of places to eat. Recommende it hightly.

Restaurant Downstairs is very good and the two managers speak good english. I did not like the staff telling the prostitutes which room to call to advertise their service.

We preferred staying at Hostels! Be aware of the fact that this is a hotel, so don't expect to have much fun at this place! It's location is good but the next subway station is a 15 minute walk. The staff's english was partially quite poor and some were not too friendly. We recommend to stick to... more

This hotel is in a great location, close to the main tourist parts of Shanghai. Staff speak good English. It is basically a business hotel though so not much else available for "tourists" in the way of brochures etc, but that wasn't a problem.
