Located very conveniently near metro-station. Rooms are clean and cozy. neighbourhood is authentic and unpretentious. Delicious street food at nearby nightmarket. Never ever ever experienced such friendly and helpful staff before. Altogether: Wanna go right back there!

Despite the smell of old shanghai this hostel was great. The staff go above and beyond and there's so much character! Also it's close to a lot of sights and the metro

There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms as stated. The staff was fantastic. Location is in a "unique" part of Shanhai where you'll get to see parts more tourists don't, it is very safe as well.

The location was really bad, to far away from the city center so to get back to the hostel you need to leave the centre around PM 10 o clock! The living room was nice, but the sleeping twin room was crappy, stinky and our view out of the window was just to the sidewall of a house next to.

A great pleasure to stay here. Comfortable rooms and lounge, cleanliness is top notch. You become friends with the staff here, and bond over the meals you share together. One of the best I've stayed at in my 7 weeks of travel.
