Hostel is in a great location and easy to find if you use the directions given. Only stayed one night so didn't really get a feel for the place but would recommend based on location. Officially worst shower experienced yet in China!!

The room and the bathroom smelt wierd, the AC non-functional, the beds moist, and unfriendly staff. When I told them they never used my deposit on hostelworld towards the booking as they charged me full rate for the new room, I had to convince them and they made it seem as if they were doing me a favour by returning me that money.close

it was kind of hard to find, my cab driver had to get directions, plus, if your coming from the subway, you have to go up to an overpass 2 flights up. not fun w/ heavy bags.

As central as it gets, in an area full of cheap food options. Clean, comfy dorms with ensuite bathrooms. Pleasant staff. A/C working just fine. Large common area with bar, which was nice but not so social.

we arrived very late and had little time in Shanghai so the central location was the important point. Bed was comfy. Shower was good and small stores are very close for food. Staff were helpful. Very pleased with the hostel.

The location is great and the rooms are cheap, that's about it. The beds are uncomfortable and the staff is not helpful or friendly. I would not stay there again or recommend this place.

The staff helped me very much with a short trip to a park, where I could see the famous "Chang Jiang - River". Thanks for the great advice!

Great atmosphere, it was much better of what I expected, very cheap and close to People's Square, nice bar and staff... excellent! (it would be perfect if the rooms had natural ventilation, but they have created a cosy "street" simulation). I surely recommend it to any backpacker...

No A/C and a windowless room with bad circulation was uncomfortable in humid Shanghai. I would not stay there again. half the staff were friendly the other half were just there to fill in the desk...not helpful with tours or anything touristy.

Really nice hostel, way over what I'd expected. The staff was very helpful and the place is close to the subway and just a short walk from Yuyuan and Waitan (the Bund). There are also some good small Chinese restaurants in the neighbourhood.

This place is in a great location and walking distance to the centre of town, the bund and close to the metro also. The only complaint the bar staff seemed to be more interested in drinking and partying more than the guests and they made quite a bit of noise in the hall ways.
