We took one tour with the hostel and they told us we where going to see the acrobats and instead we sae a very bad circus not worth it at all. Be sure to ask for what the sell you. Wich gardens are you going to see and with spectacle. Everuthing as alot.close

Location is very easy to get to. Super close to the subway. The room was clean and neat. The shared bathrooms were amazing: new tile and fixtures. Super clean, really! Staff was really helpful and all spoke english. If I didn't stay with friends I would have stayed the week at this hostel!!

Lovely Hostel with very really clean rooms. Showers downstairs off reception are useful. Bar/Restaurant is expensive for China. Overall though, a great place.

Clean and nicelooking youth hostel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hostel is catering a nice bar/lounge, which is open till 4am. Some breakfast is included in the price. Location is not as central as according to the name, but located conveniently nonetheless.

Friendly staff, good international crowd, clean rooms and some very new facilities (bathrooms and showers). Very close to a subway stop and only 25 kuai from most place in town worth being after the subway closes. The breakfast wasn't so tasty but hey, at least it's included. Would definately...

I stay in the 4 bed dorm and it was small. Much smaller than other places. The lockers were small and you much provide your own locks. This should be noted on the website. However, the hallways echo and at night some guest can be noisy.

This hostel was amazing!! Spacious rooms, clean and the whole hostel had a good vibe all together. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good time in Shanghai. The community room is great too. Alot of socializing and cheap beers!! A must.

I really liked this place. It must have the best lounge/bar/relax area that I have seen at a hostel. One negative this is the access to internet. The computers where always taken.

One of the best that I've been to. Next to the Metro station, restaurants, nice bar with reasonable prices (just for drinks, not for food!). Friendly and helpfull staff. 100% recommendable. Enjoy, Rodrigo.-

One of the best hostels I've ever been. But there's absolutely nothing going on in this area at night, especially not in the hostel bar. The booking fee for train tickets are too much, nearly double price like in other hostels. The laudndry service isn't really clean. But there are about 7 fast...

Rooms are big and clean. Nice bathrooms. Free internet and lots of computers, but it does take an age to upload photos.

Overall a good easy hostel, simple easy, cheap. The free breakfast is really worth it as well, not to easy to get a good western breaky in China!! Good job

The bedroom is quite good, with conditioned air but there is a problem with cleanliness and bathroom smell really bad. They help you in booking trains, planes and trips what can be very helpful here in China.

Was a bit disapointed at how far away from the city it is. The tours are a joke, I wouldn't recommend them. The free breakfast was a bonus, the staff were very accomodating. I was unimpressed by the state of the bathrooms.

Kudos to Shanghai City Central Int.l Hostel! I stayed in a dorm room and the only thing I would change is to have air con between the shower and the room but that aside, the place is great! Nice staff and great place to lounge.

Could have been a better value travellers' bar as it served the most expensive drinks we came across in Shanghai. The mens' toilets stink. We would still highly recommend this hostel

Really great atmosphere, great bar/lounge area which shows movies at night, very clean. A little far from the tourist areas, but it's right near the metro line.
