Great set up, the dorm beds have curtains and your own secure cupboard built into the wall. Very central location and access to fridge and microwave in common area was excellent! I would recommend this hostel for sure!

the hostel is a bit hard to find. actually very hard to find without the proper sign of the correct name (the signs are written UCOOL HOSTEL). but the location is quite close to the bund. the hostel is spacious and seems new, but there are lots of malfunction things and unclean spots.

Bad Experience, had to fight with the staff for using the computer and the TV...bad acttitude less than friendly. Far frome the metro station!!! Its clean, hospital atmosphere. Instead go to Blue Mountain Youth Hostel.... better option!!!

for our impressons of hostels in china we werent impressed, as there was very few people staying here, no hot water for showers and not much atsomphere

They charge you 5 rmb an hour to use the computer, but its a bit impractical as there is only one computer and majority of people dont need to use the internet for that long

It is a little old -especially in the bathroom but it is very clean. It looks inside as an hospital, especially the dorms. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and funny. Not the best place to meet people when I was there.Maybe a weak season ?

the guy who helped me was so friendly! not only did he wait up until 4 in the morning for me to check in, but he also introduced me to others staying in the hostel who were taking the same boat as me so that we could share a taxi. Thanks so much for your helpfulness!
