Aleksander and the crew take a lot of pride in their hostel and it shows. A very homely atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend it.

I had a great time in Belgrade which was made even better by the fabulous people at Happy Hostel.It is cleanest hostel ever, staff were amazing and super helpful,it is warmly familiarly atmosphere there.The best hostel with the nicest people. I would stay again. RECOMENDED!

The two people that work here are so lovely and helpful. They also have a washing machine that you can use for free which i found so helpful.

This is the cleanest and most modern hostel I have been to. Great hostel. Owners/staff were really helpful and hooked us up with vip's to one of the clubs, free internet, small kitchen to use. Would definitely stay here again.

I had to stop 2 people on the street and they helped me to find the hostel. That was because the street signs are written in the Cyrillic script which I can't read. Very friendly staff, especially Alexander, who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It was a great base to explore Belgrade, and the free internet and washing is a bonus!

I got to see the best of everything at this hostel - both having a chilled out time and people partying. It's a cosy place but I don't believe belgrade has too many large, well established hostels yet so Happy Hostel is a good bet. The staff are very helpful with everything you need for your...

This is the best hostel I have stayed at throughout my travels in Eastern Europe. It is fresh, clean, spacious, colourful, cable TV, kitchen with utensils. Hot female staff, and the bloke was a good lad. So nice compared to the rest of Belgrade, a true refuge. Good selection of DVDs and good internet. reccommended

it was a bit far from the main square but near the bus and train station, and it s a nice place, nice people, nice district!! the problem is that you don t have place to put your stuff, but for few days it s ok!!!

This is not a hostel but very much like a home. Militia, Ivana and Alexander were excellent hosts. We also enjoyed some Serbian pop music and singing on telly! hehe! Highly recommended hostel. Take care guys!! :-)

Very helpful staff, young people that are friendly and open-minded. The hostel is situated just in the city center, the only problem is that the hostel does not have car parking, you need to leave the car in the front of the bulding and pay for it. Fortunelly the fine, which you can get, is not...

The best ever. During 3 weeks I've been in many Hostel and the Happy Hostel is the Best I tried. Perfect location but most of all perfect staff that make you feel like home.

A locker would be good, and walking through other people's rooms is not ideal. But other than that, the staff are fantastic, the place is quiet, and the "HAPPY HAPPY HOSTEL" intercom will keep you laughing all night!
