I think the owner could have done some seriouse insulation work to reduce the use of air conditioning. A little insulation on the wall and better window/window blinds would have done a long way to improve the comfort. If you have no other choice in the area, this hotel is a good place to crash for a night.close

Ephesus is incredible and worth the trip on its own. Second, Artemis Guest House was an outstounding place to stay. They completely took care of us, helping us arrange our travel plans, giving us tea and letting us take showers even after we had checked out. They went above and beyond, and we loved it there. Definitely an awesome experience.close

We have never encountered more friendly and helpful staff than everyone at Artemis. They go out of their way to walk us around town, and even helping us book our future accomodations and transportation. I cant wait to come back!!!

Owner was very friendly, arranged to meet us at the bus stop, and helped us get free transport to Ephesus and gave us directions to St. John's Basilica... lent us guide books. The breakfast was good. I am sorta conflicted b/c it felt like the travel agent he took us to tried to get us to stay longer to get him more business by not telling us the correct ferry schedule. Be determined to do what you set out to do and double check your information if it's not sounding right!close
