“ Visited the Living room for the first time on the 7th March as my wife and I were in Glasgow for the weekend. The food was excellent my wife had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection i opted for the lamb again could not be faulted.we also had a sweet. As the main course was taking a while to arrive we did'nt think it was that long as it was a busy Saturday night the head waitress offered us a drink on the house. The staff are friendly and helpful and you won't break the bank ”

“ This is a beautifully decorated restaurant but they need more staff. I arrived on time and there was no waitress to be seen. I sat at the bar and got through half a pint before she arrived. The shoulder of lamb was excellent as was the recommended wine. There were only a handful of people in the place so really no need for the delays. I wanted the bill and the waitress went missing again so I ended up sitting at the bar and enjoyed a delightful cocktail. The waitress finally arrived. ”

“ Lovely meal. Don't like the the tables for 2 beside each other though, it feels like your eating with the people next to you. ”

At The Living Room Glasgow our focus remains on sourcing the best quality ingredients, preparing them simply and delivering bags of flavour and texture on the plate. This is good, honest, robust and stylish food with its origins firmly in the European tradition with international touches. There is nothing frilly or fancy. All-day opening is designed to facilitate easy access and reinforces a core ethos behind The Living Room; you, the customer, is the one empowered to make decisions and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to do that, enjoy it and be comfortable.
Description of The Living Room from toptable.com
"The Living Room is something of a magnet for Glasgow's twenty and thirty-something hipsters. Bang in the middle of the city's business district, its slick looks, relaxed vibe and consistently good food and service are a hit with office workers during the day, and party people by night when there's usually live music. In the atmospheric AA rosette-awarded restaurant you can dine on a range of affordable hit dishes such as the crispy duck wrap, sea bass fillet with pak choi and chilli, and Thai salmon fishcakes. Drinks go down just as well as the food, probably because there's always something new to try from the monthly beer, wine and cocktails list. "
