The sensitive fire alarms were a bit annoying at 8 in the morning, but the place was overall great. If your looking for a quite place, this is it. If your looking for a lot of socializing, this might not be the place for you.

Great price for a private room, very clean and well run. As it's a University residence the rest of the year don't expect much in terms of events and character.

Great place to get a quiet room of one's own. Close enough to the train if you don't have a lot to carry. Easy walking distance from Kelvingrove Gallery; not especially close to the downtown area. Very professional staff. Not a place to meet other travelers (you'll probably never see them).

pretty run down especially the bathrooms and kitchens. Half the facilities were not working on our floor. The equipment in the kitchen left a lot to be desired. It was all over very smelly therefor not clean. The whole building could do with a proper make over.

I was there for work actually (conference). Except the hotels in SECC, this hostel is the best place to stay, and for a fraction of the money. It is super-clean and staff makes everything super-efficient!

Here you can find a brilliant stay for a few money. The rooms are really big (1-bed around 12m2), tide and nice. The bed was comfortable, and it was only a few minutes to the city or the museums.

There was a lot of noise in the hallways after 10 pm. People were singing, laughing, playing guitar and the staff didn't say anything about it. It's a very clean and well-equiped hostel, but don't expect a lot of sleep. Also quite far from the city centre.

Even thought it's a bit far from the centeral of the city, it's quite easy to get and the price was extremely cheap with the good quality. Everything was very well organized. except that some facility of kitchen was't working well. It was a good accomodation for quite atmosphere.

It felt more like a hotel than a hostel and gave us the much needed space to chill out in the double room. It didnÄt feel like a hostel though, as we didn't met anyone else - the kitchen are each for 5 rooms only, and didn't used the common room. Recommendable anyway!!

The hostel's facilities are okay, it seems a little military but once you get used to it, it's nice. We have to walk a lot to get into our room, but the bedrooms are very comfortable, the bed is perfect!

It's a dorm room, plain and simple, but we found it a great hostel since we like the privacy of our own room. Free internet a plus!

This place suited my purpose of visiting family. Good value for a private room with wash basin. Not good for solo travellers who may want to meet others - It just doesn't happen here unless you're a student during uni sessions staying for a long time.
