There was a rave in the hostel lounge until 4am directly below my room despite the lounge supposed to be closed at midnight. No sleep tried to get it to stop but no effect. Apparently it did not wake staff (whose room is beside lounge)...makes me suspect they were involved. Girl on reception was... more

well... it's sure not the prettiest hostel. bit dingy. the location suited us perfectly cause i wanted to be in the west end, though it's not close to the city centre. but i mean the staff are really nice and helpful, and it is SO CHEAP (it cost us less for a twin private ensuite than it would... more

Quite small hostel located well for the University and West End area of Glasgow and a short subway ride away from the centre. Did the job and was cheap, can't really complain.

Filthy. The hostel seemed to be undergoing a refurbishing, 'cause everything was out of place. There was not even a TV set in the common area, wich was very dirty as well. The staff girl was lovely though, and helped with everything. The only positive aspect was the shower - very good. Would...

Ive stayed in places all over the world and this was one of the worst. Nice, clean twin-priavte room. I wouldn't mind a bit more space, but no big deal. The hostel is in a peaceful, "green" part of the city. If I had chosen a hostel in the city centre, I would never have seen the beutiful buildings of the Glasgow University and other institutions of... more

I was quiet disappointed by the Hostel. Twin room was small (just enough space for the bunk bed) and carpet dirty and unclean. Sheets were clean and beds confortable, bathroom aswell. The Hostel needs a fresh paint and a cosy lounge. I would not recommend it, but it's ok for one night

This hostel is the cheapest you'll find in Glasgow. At first glance it's far from city center, but it's in a cool area and the Underground train is just around the corner. A round trip to city center is 2.40. Take the "outer" train to Buchanan Street Station. On saturday you'll see... more

Nice, comfortable place to stay but I think some staff possibly try to rip off customers. They made me put down an excessive cash deposit for the key but claimed I only gave them half that amount when trying to get it back the next day so a little disappointing from their part.

I loved this hostel-- not only is it really conducive to meeting other travelers (with a big, open common room downstairs), but they also had the owner's dog hanging around, which was wonderful. Beds were comfy, overall pretty clean, and lots of character.
