A much better alternative to EuroHostel. My experience of an 8-bed dorm here much better than the single room I'd had there. A little hike from the subway was worth it - although no complimentary breakfast included here.

The hostel was in a nice area, nicer than the central city area. Kelvingrove park and beyond towards the Botanic gardens were lovely. Clean rooms and bathrooms and lockers available. Kitchen and lounge areas all fine. Staff very helpful. Nice place to stay!

Only stayed on Boxing Day so hard to to properly judge the hostel given it was understandably fairly empty. Staff were friendly and helpful, location central. Little bit cheap to charge for PC usage when the free wifi wasn't working mind you. All in all very secure, nice atmosphere - very laid back.

Pretty awesome except for the beds were way too small for me (an extremely averaged-sized person) and they were really noisy if anyone moved at all in their sleep.

The coffee shop is a nice idea but if it is advertised to remain open until 22h please do so. Both nights I would have used this service past 21h but each time it was closing as I arrived

The hostel is in a beautiful old townhouse in a really upscale part of town by/in the lovely Kelvingrove Park. The staff were very helpful, and the rooms clean. A plus and a minus was that it is a good 40 minute walk to the city center and you have to walk up hills going both ways. It was very... more

The hostel is also has rooms about five flights of stairs above the ground floor, so if you get a room number in the 200-300 range be warned that you've got a lot of stairs to climb - if you've got heavy luggage, or bad knees, consider leaving the bulk of your gear in the hostel's luggage room,... more

The hostel was clean, friendly and situated in a beautiful location. The staff were helpful and had ready printed directions to the concert I was going to. The hostel is a bit outside the city centre but there are regular busses and a taxi comes to around £5. Would stay there again.
