Created in the 1820's, the gardens sit in the shadow of the castle and play host to many concerts and the Hogmanay festival every year. There are many statues and monuments contained within the gardens and also is a popular meeting place.

    The Princes Street Gardens are one of the many parks in Edinburgh. They are located just below the castle next to Princes Street. They contain a cool floral clock and some war memorials. A long path leads from the gardens up to the castle. Stop halfway up and enjoy the view!
