This is one of the most popular bars in Edinburgh , especially among the student population of the city. The bar is located in the center of the pub and there is plenty of room around it to enjoy the live music that takes place here every night.

I was expecting Finnegans Wake to be great! but was kinda disappointed. It was dead when we went there.. no Irish behind the bar.. it was dark, kinda dirty and the toilets were a disgrace. Had to go back there another day as they were showing the Gaelic (Irish Football game) but it was purely... more I was expecting Finnegans Wake to be great! but was kinda disappointed. Had to go back there another day as they were showing the Gaelic (Irish Football game) but it was purely just to see the game as they were showing it there.. there was a bigger crowd and a bit more atmosphere, but still not great. We left soon after! They did have a Meath jersey hanging up though so I liked that!!close
