   As a tourist in Edinburgh I was attracted to The World's End like a magnet to a scrapyard. It is the place to go for tourists. I can see why. It is a cool place. Mainly tourists and... more As a tourist in Edinburgh I was attracted to The World's End like a magnet to a scrapyard. It is the place to go for tourists. I can see why. It is a cool place. Very low ceilings, dark wood everywhere. Lots of Character here, the people that come here too are friendly. Mainly tourists and Scottish men looking to pick up tourists. I had to keep an eye on the girlfriend, great fun in the Worlds end. Although the name seems very stupid, there is clever history attached to it surrounding this pub being situated by the old city wall. See if you can find out it's name's origin. Very Interesting.close

   The Three Sisters is a huge pub in the Cowgate area! It is really popular with backpackers, students, stag and hens. Great place to go if you are with a group as there is plenty of seating outdoors and inside! Great for watching sport too as there is a big screen outside at the front of the pub.... more The Three Sisters is a huge pub in the Cowgate area! It is really popular with backpackers, students, stag and hens. Great place to go if you are with a group as there is plenty of seating outdoors and inside! Great for watching sport too as there is a big screen outside at the front of the pub. It took me a little while to find this place (my sense of direction is not the best!) but was worth it to be able to sit out in the sun, catch up on the golf and drink! I was there in the middle of the day so it was quiet, but I have heard it gets great crowds at night time. They also have BBQ's there some evenings too and great music. Worth a visit!close

   This pub (wonder where they got the name from?) on the Old Town's main thoroughfare is exceptionally good value considering its location. Traditional 'haggis, tatties and neeps' costs just £7.50 and is served by friendly staff.

   American-style Bar in the city centre. You can stop off for a drink or have a little snack or proper dinner there. We only stopped there for a drink but the food looked good! They also have a big screen for all sport events so you can be updated.
