Location is perfect. 10 min. walk to Princess St and Royal Mile. Really modern and clean. Showers were great. Need to provide own towels though. Would stay here again for sure.

Excellent hostel and fairly close to Edinburgh Waverley Station, pubs, bars and restaurants. Road noise a bit of an issue at night even when windows were closed passing cars and people can be heard from the street below. Despite this, a good choice for budget accommodation in Edinburgh.

More hot food laid on at breakfast for a big queue would have been nice. Actually their whole attitude towards breakfast needs to be overhauled, the thing with vouchers was ridiculous.

Nice hostel. Has a well-equipped kitchen. No common room. Cafe in lobby. Hot showers but very small - nowhere dry to get changed. WiFi cost 5 pound per day. Hostel is about a 10 min walk from main street. I'd stay again

Would definitely stay again. Stayed in a four bed room this time. Everything was really clean and new. Only fault was the lack of decent ventilation in the shower but it didn't steam up the bedroom so no big problem. Kitchen was also very clean and well equipped. Nice (hot and cold) breakfast too... more

I know that it is a hostel, but the prices are very similar to what in other European countries would be a cheap hotel. This means that it is expensive for a hostel and doesn't have many hotel-like features. For instance I found it amazing that they would charge you 1 pound for renting each towel... more

The location is pretty good if you need to get to the bus station, not as good if you want to be really close to the touristy stuff. It's fine if you need a place to stay for the night but not necessarily the most exciting.
