Mikel was extremely accommodating. He is very nice. Arriving during the day, when few people are on the street, is a little intimidating. After meeting Mikel, it is more at ease. The street level room was great for our needs. Coming home later in the evening the area is bustling. Have a great stay.

It's a great place to stay overall if you just want to stick to yourselves and don't mind walking a bit to get to the Royal MIle etc, but it's really annoying that there wasn't really internet except for exceptionally weak wifi, which only worked in the mornings if you sat in one part of the... more

nice hostel if you want an accommodation for a good price which is clean and nice. You can access the hostel everytime with a 4-nuber-security code and they dont have a permanent reception. Nice and tidy and good prices, but not good if you want to get to know other people.

Great value, great location, very comfy bed, really hot shower (though not very powerful). We only had one problem while there: a large group of Brazilians who rented all the rooms around ours and behaved like 15 year old children, playing loud pop music, shouting and even sleeping in the... more

We satisfied with the guest house. The location is good and easy to find and also easy to walk to city centre or royal mile street. The room is homey, big and comfortable. However, the heater didn't work well and there should be slippers provided in the room since the floor is cold.

The room as nice, very warm which was great in the middle of the winter! However the service was very much 'hands-off'; we would have preferred at least a chat about the local area etc...

Posto molto carino e pulito. A due passi dal centro. Le camere sono calde e accoglienti con tutto quello che può servire. ATM e posti dove mangiare nei dintorni. Manca la colazione ma in camera è possibile preparsi caffè e bevande calde. Consigliato.

It's a nice guesthouse with nicely furnished rooms, also very clean. But it's in the basement and was a bit smelly and cold...Better go in the sister guesthouse Windsor House. There the rooms aren't that modern furnished, but really bright and warm atmosphere on the first and second floor.

Excellent attention from the stuff. We did a wrong reservation, we booked a double room as we wanted a twin room and Michiel did his best to give us a new twin room, although they were fully booked. Thanks again for your attention and understanding!

Fabulous stay at this adorable little hostel. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and cute. Only downside was lugging our suitcases up the stairs - no lift! Great location, good restaurants nearby and princes street and the royal mile within easy walking distance.
