Best try a guesthouse -In Jan which is high season we got something for 130 yuan. close

7City was surprisingly expensive in most areas but definitely different options if you wish to live on a budget. Beware of the taxi drivers wanting to take you around because they just want commission from the expensive places they want to take you. 1The Blue Sky YH is set back a b8it from the main road, but is very close to the beach, which is beautiful. I was quite surprised about how empty the beach was - nobody for 100 metres either way. All the Chinese tourists seem to be squashed together right next to the hotels, and there was no one...more The Blue Sky YH is set back a b8it from the main road, but is very close to the beach, which is beautiful. I was quite surprised about how empty the beach was - nobody for 100 metres either way. All the Chinese tourists seem to be squashed together right next to the hotels, and there was no one down the far (east?) end. The waves were pretty big, and most of the sand was powdery - very nice.close

Sanya Fourseasons Home 93%
We enjoy the stay in Sanya. The Fourseason Home is more an apppartement than an hostel. But everything is very nice and very clean. Everything goes over Ken, the owner, who is very helpful. Thanks for the great days in Sanya!

– posted on Oct 2008 3Very nice place but more like apartments than a hotel. No real reception, instead everything goes via Ken (the owner) who is very, very helpful. He can arrange almost anything for you. Not so near anything except the beach but taxis are cheap here.

Sanya Eagle Backpackers Hostel 85%
Great staff, good location for price about a 5 min walk to beach. Good sized rooms. Directions a bit messy, you need to go behind the building next to City Hotel. Good local restaurant across the road from the lobby entrance. Enjoy
