Description of Hotel Avenida

Avenida Hotel is a newly opened hotel (April 2006), located in the heart of Santiago de Compostela, in one of the most ancient neighbourhoods of the city, at only 200m from the cathedral and very close to other interesting tourist and cultural points. This hotel relies on 14 spacious and luminous rooms, where tradition and modernity coexist. Santiago de Compostela is known by its numerous pubs and restaurants for all the pockets. The hotel offers a continental breakfast type buffet, with juices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, croissants, breads, rolls, yoghurts, fruit and a selection of ham, cheese and cereals. In addition, our staff can advise you about restaurants where you will taste the most appetizing, different and typical dishes of the area. The hotel is surrounded by the Santo Domingo de Bonaval, Belvis and Alameda parks. It is very close from: -The cathedral and its museum - Contemporary Art Museum - Peregrinations Museum - The University Museum - Many other museums and city galleries The hotel is close (50 m.) to the more central square of the city (Plaza de Galicia). There our clients can find a paid parking (100 m) from the hotel and which cost is EUR 10.20 per day) and the Ryanair´s bus stop. In addition, you can find other parking like Plaza de Abastos (200m from the hotel) or La Salle (500 m from the hotel and which costs EUR 5per day). On the other hand, it is necessary to emphasize that the hotel is 10km from Lavacolla's International Airport and to 33 km from the coast.
