Description of Meiga Backpackers

In Meiga Backpackers our main goal is to make you feel home. We have three floors were the dorms and bathrooms are distributed and a ground floor were you will find the common areas and a garden. We have a big living room, the perfect place to relax and meet people from all over the world and a wide kitchen with all the necesary stuff to cook your meals, so you can safe a little bit of money during your stay in Santiago de Compostela. In spring and summer time enjoy our garden, where you can make a barbacue with your friends, get tan or just relax in the open air. Nevertheless, this is a small hostel where we want to keep a familiar atmosphere. We are in a quiet place, perfect for those who want to have a good night sleep, but only a few minutes walking from the monumental area with all the sites, and the pubs to go out at night. We are located 5 minutes from the bus station and well comunicated with the train station. If you come riding your bike, we also have place for it. This is a non-smoking place. JANUARY AND FEBRUARY RECEPTION HOURS: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The reception is not open the hole day, very unconfortable because you have to wait until 6 PM to do the check in. The computer with internet is not free!!! you have to pay, it works with coins, I had to expend 1 euro to make it work before start to use it. People are friendly, very clean!!!

It was okay. You can't lock the door of the dormitory but there were only girls at the hostel when I was there so it didn't bother me at all. The only problem is that the reception is open only from 10am to 12am and from 6pm to 10pm; and when the reception is closed there's nobody there, only the...

You can't arrive past 10 o'clock. And the cleanliness in the kitchen is poor. Except these things, it's a very nice hostel.

This is a very nice hostel not far from the bus station and a short walk from the old city. It was very quiet while I was there.
