Great location-a minute from the cathedral in the middle of the old city. The room was clean but the shower isn´t new and it shows.... The owners are very very nice but they don´t speak english.

Staff very accommodating and helpful. Pension has a good kitchen for use by guests, which lets you make coffees etc whenever you wish. Kitchen also has a fridge for storing drinks etc. Well worth a visit.

no hot water for 2 out of 3 night stay. no reception desk. must wake family up from sleep if anything needed in late evening or early morning (e.g. call for taxi).

I loved the location, its behind the Cathedral, in front of a beautiful Monastery. The owners are very kind and helpful. The pension is quite new and the room are vey colorful. I will certainly recommended it to my friends.

There was a problem related to the water that i believe was not common at all - there was no water for a couple of hours. Anyways I vividly recommend this place

Muy buena ubicación, central, y en un lugar tranquilo. Lo lleva una pareja muy amable que no tendrán problemas en responder cualquier consulta sobre la ciudad. Cuenca con una pequeña cocina compartida. lleva lo eficiente de un hotel y lo cálidos de un hostal.

The rooms are lovely with great little homely touches. The staff are wonderfully friendly. The location in the heart of the old town is fantastic, but does mean the double rooms at the front, overlooking the square, can be a little noisy. Despite this, I'd recommend this Pension in a flash.

Excellent, very friendly hotel in a great location.Owners speack no english but are very friendly. Hotel is on 2nd floor and reception is on 3rd floor.We will be returning adn we recomend this hotel to anyone.

Great place to stay...great location, very clean, hospitable, helpful...only downfall is not very sociable for others. Lots of privacy, overall, would recommend it to anyone and becaue of location and price would stay there again! :)

I had a very very nice stay at "pension da estrela".the owner is very kind to us. he guided well about cathedral,delicious restaurante... the room was very cute,very colorful.from the window we could see nice old town. there are kitchen and laundry,if you want stay at santiago long...

The location, and staff are absolutely awesome. I went to Santiago with my girlfriend for a three nights and this was the perfect place to stay. After having travelled both Spain and Europe extensively, i can easily say that the staff are the loveliest I have ever come across. Cheers!
